ABC is proud to offer the 1500 and 500 hour Barber Programs.
The 1500 Barber Program includes courses topics required for State Licensure through the llinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation .
If you are already a licensed in Cosmetology may qualify for the 500 hour add-on program for Barbering. This is a wonderful option for increasing your income and knowledge. Upon completion of this add-on program you will have the opportunity to sit for the Barbering State of Illinois Board.
Today's Barbers must study various aspects of hair, shaving, trimming, styling, fading, curling, perminent waves, straightening, shampooing and other chemical services. Once trained and licensed your clients will enjoy such treatments as facial and/or scalp massage alsong with other treatments with oils, creams or other preparations either by hand or by mechanical appliances.
